Tim Hagan and his crew began by gutting the brick building, then created the entire interior from foundation slabs to floors, roofs, and the modern additions. In the area where the ale is made, corrugated steel was used extensively as everything has to be washable.. The rest of the interior, which includes corporate offices, a gym and 10 bathrooms, has a variety of finishes from original brick to hardwood and tile. Tim's crew even created the wrought iron railings for 14 interior staircases.
Now, with five times the space they had previously been operating in, Ipswich Ale Brewery is able to brew 1,000,000 bottles at a time.
T.T. Hagan's relationship with the Brewery continues; they are adding a brewpub, slated to open in fall 2014.
